Attachment
Attachment provides a sense of core identity. We now know that attachment and trauma are intertwined. Attachment wounds are created when we lack a consistent, loving, caregiver to whom we feel closely connected. Attachment wounds are often traumatic and can result on ongoing relationship challenges because our understanding of who we are and how we matter in relationship with others has been deeply impacted, often from a very early age. Grassroots therapists have extensive training and understanding of attachment and best practice interventions for healing attachment wounds to support people in developing the securely connected relationships our hearts and minds are designed to experience.
