Jasmine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Whitworth University and Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University. Jasmine is an EMDR Therapist, Registered Circle of Security Parent Educator, certified Triple P educator and Family Preservation Services Therapist. She has extensive training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, attachment theory and EMDR. Areas of practice which are of particular interest and expertise include post traumatic stress disorder, crisis intervention, attachment, mood disorders, coping/stress management, family systems, domestic violence, military families, relationship issues, and home based service provision to children and families. In addition to her clinical practice, Jasmine is an Adjunct Professor in the Psychology Department at Whitworth University.

Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Whitworth University and a Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University. Emily is a Registered Circle of Security Parent Educator, Family Preservation Services Therapist, and Certified Promoting First Relationships provider. Emily is a member of Postpartum Support International and Perinatal Support Washington and has completed specialized training in post partum mood and anxiety disorders.Emily is an adjunct faculty member at Whitworth University and provides education to undergraduate students on the topics of abnormal psychology. Specialty practice areas include EMDR therapy, prenatal/postpartum challenges, post partum mood and anxiety disorders, medically fragile and complex infants, infant mental health, child development, children with medical trauma, attachment and bonding, parent education, family systems, crisis intervention, coping/stress management, and home based service provision to children and families.

Lacey has worked in the social services field for over 8 years and has been sub-contracted with Grassroots since 2013. Lacey is a certified Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) Educator and is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Lacey is well trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Areas of practice and experience in serving individuals and families include pediatric and adult  post traumatic stress disorder, suicide interventions, behavior modification, parent education, domestic violence, blended family challenges, stress management and crisis intervention. She regularly participates in continuing education and training to ensure that her skills are well developed and evidence based. Lacey is a certified CANS-F (Child & Adolescent Needs & Strengths-Family)  assessment tool trainer for eastern Washington. Lacey earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Eastern Washington University in 2013 and her Master’s Degree in Social Worker from Eastern Washington University June 2016. Lacey is a Faculty Field Instructor for the School of Social Work at Eastern Washington University.

Ashley is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Certified Attachment Focused Therapist with over 10 years of experience working with families. She is certified in Promoting First Relationships and Positive Parenting Program. She is also a registered Circle of Security Parenting© educator and has received certification in the Circle of Security© clinical assessment of parent child interactions. Ashley received a Masters of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University and regularly participates in continuing education and training to ensure that her skills are well developed and evidence based. Areas of practice which are of particular interest and expertise include parent-child relational issues, attachment, child development, blended family challenges, couple’s work, crisis intervention and home-based service provision to children and families.

Kate is Certified in Promoting First Relationships and and has received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Areas of practice which are of particular interest and expertise include birth to 3 interventions, crisis intervention, parent education, attachment, family systems and home-based service provision to children and families. Katelyn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social work from Concordia University in Portland in 2015 and her Masters in Social Work from Eastern Washington University in 2018. Kate is also a licensed foster parent and an adoptive parent.

Taylor has worked in the social services field for over eight years and became a subcontractor with Grassroots Therapy Group in 2016. Taylor obtained her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Whitworth University and then obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University in 2014. Taylor is an Incredible Years home coach, Certified Promoting First Relationships (PFR) provider, registered Circle of Security provider and has received training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and Play therapy. Areas of practice interest and expertise are pediatric post -traumatic stress disorder, child development, pre and post adoption support, pediatric grief and loss, attachment and bonding, parent education and crisis intervention.

Alyssa Brudnicki has partnered with children and families in the social services field for nearly a decade. She primarily works with teens and adults to process trauma, grief, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. Her areas of practice and expertise include crisis intervention, attachment, family systems, advocacy, coping/stress management, parent education and home-based service intervention for children and families. Her experience has equipped her to practice a variety of therapeutic interventions. She regularly participates in continuing education and training to ensure her skills are well developed and evidence-based. Alyssa obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University in 2015 and her undergraduate degree from Western Washington University in Human Services and Rehabilitation in 2011. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Liz has been working in the field of social services for four years and has been contracted with Grassroots since 2019. Liz is bilingual in English and Russian. Liz received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Eastern Washington University in 2017 and a master’s degree in social work from Eastern Washington University in 2018. She regularly participates in continuing education and training to ensure that her skills are up to date, evidenced based and ensure best practice. Liz has received training in Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Suicide Prevention, Mindfulness, DBT and CBT. Liz has experience working in a hospital setting providing education and support to families impacted by chronic illness and medically complex diagnoses. She previously facilitated DBT groups with adults, and has extensive experience engaging children and teens in individual therapy. Areas of specialty practice and experience include treating a variety of mental health disorders in individual therapy with children, teens and adults, crisis interventions, and home-based service provision to children and families.

 

David Wilson, MSW, SWAAL

David has been working in the field of mental health since 2012 and joined Grassroots in 2019. His skills include working with at risk youth and their families, substance use treatment, spiritual counseling, and eating disorder treatment. He has experience working with military members and their families in programs like their Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment program (ADAPT) and their Family Advocacy Program (FAP). David has worked in K-12 school settings as a school counselor with a focus on children dealing with emotional and behavioral dysregulation as well as ADD and ADHD. His work involved incorporating parents into a school based approach to treatment. David completed double major undergraduate degrees in Counseling Psychology, and Biblical Studies from Kentucky Christian University in 2014. While there, he started a university Psychology Club. He completed a Master of Social Work degree from Northern Kentucky University in 2016. David is trained in DBT, CBT and Motivational Interviewing and utilizes these modalities in his work with clients.
